Le Chef à L’école® is a new concept in teaching that will boost your student’s enthusiasm for learning the French language! We combine a fun atmosphere of preparing kid-friendly French recipes with a story-based lesson in French Canadian culture.
Now entering our 11th year, we’ve enjoyed cooking with more than 100,000 K-12 students!
To ensure we stay well aligned with the CEFR-inspired 2013 Ministry Framework for FSL in Ontario Schools, we’ve increased our focus this year on fluency with an emphasis on spontaneous student-to-student interaction, open-ended questions and personalization.

We’ll come to your school with all that is needed for your students to cook, learn French culture, listen to French music and eat wonderfully prepared kid-friendly French food. This exciting French event will boost the interest in your classroom through the use of French in fun and practical ways. We do sessions for JK through Highschool – both Core French and Immersion!
A Francophone raised in Cornwall Ontario, Suzanne has an Honours Bachelor of Applied Arts Degree and many years of teaching experience at both the Community College and Elementary School levels. She spent a number of years as a Director for Pampered Chef where she did almost 500 cooking shows throughout Ontario and Quebec. An experienced Cordon Bleu Chef fluent in French, Suzanne is Certified in Food Safety by the Ministry of Health. She is a member of the Durham Board AIM focus group and has many years experience in the use of the AIM gesture approach to teaching French.
