Le Chef à L’école is a new concept in teaching that will boost your student’s enthusiasm for learning the French language! We combine a fun atmosphere of preparing kid-friendly French recipes with a story-based lesson in French culture.
Now in our 9th year, we’ve enjoyed cooking with more than 60,000 K-12 students!
I’ll come to your school with all that is needed for your students to cook, learn French culture, listen to French music and eat wonderfully prepared kid-friendly French food. This exciting French event will boost the interest in your classroom through the use of French in practical and fun ways. I do sessions for JK through Highschool – both Core French and Immersion!
Trained in the AIM gesture technique I can complement your teaching style.
All of our recipes are nut and meat free and we can substitute ingredients to accommodate most other common allergies. Please see our faq’s for more details.

For those schools who have already had the “Chef” experience, I now have three recipes and stories! Now you can have me back to work with students who’ve done the first recipe and heard the story of Evangeline. The new recipes are proving to be very popular and the stories of Les Filles du Roi and the Coureurs de bois continue the theme of the French colonization of Canada.
